Volunteering with Central Coast Arafmi is a great way to learn about mental health in the community, help reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and support people affect by mental health issues. 

Also, studies have shown that volunteering helps people feel more socially connected and provides a sense of purpose, pride and accomplishment – all great things to do to maintain your mental health.

Central Coast Arafmi has flourished thanks to the tireless work of our valuable volunteers. We are immensely grateful for all our volunteers, from past to present.

Mental Health Support

Our mental health support services are open to anyone aged 18 and over, whose lives have been impacted by mental illness.

Family & Carers Support

We have a designated worker who is dedicated to supporting families, working holistically within the family unit.

Respite Accommodation

We offer short-stay accommodation for carers and individuals that are experiencing mental health issues.
