Support for Grandparents & Kinship

We are here to help. We work closely with many organisations and schools, and recognise the importance of supporting families with grandchildren in their care.

Supporting grandparents and kinship who are raising their children

There are thousands of grandparents and family members raising their grandchildren across the Central Coast and Hunter Region. This is growing every day.

Sometimes children are not able to live with their parents for many reasons, including mental illness, drug and alcohol, addiction, abandonment, and health issues.

The grief for your own children and the challenges of raising a family for the second time around can become overwhelming. The good news is, you don’t have to do it alone.

Central Coast Arafmi is here to help. We work closely with many organisations and schools, and recognise the importance of supporting families with grandchildren in their care.
